The Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired serves as a school for visually impaired or blind children and provides education and aid through both its main campus and various outreach programs throughout the state of Wisconsin. These outreach programs provide instruction in braille, and orientation and mobility.

Vision Forward Association

The Vision Forward Association is an organization that provides a host of programs and services to blind or visually impaired residents of Milwaukee. Theses programs and services include an early intervention program that for infants and toddlers, a school age program that helps prepare visually impaired or blind children for adulthood, as well as counseling. As for adults the center offers training in braille, safe travel, assistive technology, and activities of daily living.
