Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired:

The Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a non-profit organization that serves those who are blind and visually impaired throughout the entire state of Alaska. The center offers a selection of services that include an activities of daily living course that teaches those with visual impairments proper personal and household managements skills, a orientation and mobility course that teaches how to travel safely, and a blindness sensitivity training session meant to educate business’s and organizations on how to properly interact with those with visual impairments.

The Assistive Technology Center of Alaska (ATLA) is a non-profit focused on providing access to assistive technology to blind Alaskans.

Alaska Talking Book Center:

Located: 395 Whittier St #1718, Juneau, AK 99801

The Alaska Talking Book Center is a branch of the Alaska state library and  provides free access to talking books to those with disabilities that prevent them from reading print. You also gain access to BARD which lets you download over 100,000 magazines, books and musical scores.
