Welcome to Blind Resources

Update: Hi all, Jack here, thank you for the outpouring of support through the years, We are currently working on revamping and bringing back the website after a few years hiatus. This starts with updating the state resources and adding the rest of the states to our database, as well as updating the general layout of the site to be more screen reader friendly. After the revamp is done expect daily blog posts and various other bits of content we’re currently working on behind the scenes. The site might be a little uneven over the next few weeks as we retool and figure out what works and what doesn’t, so please bear with us as I get everything back up to date.

Welcome to Blind Resources, a place where those who are low vision or blind can come to find the resources they need to improve their lives, as well as interact with others who are also blind or low vision. Blind Resources will soon feature original content such as top 5’s, opinion pieces, and a monthly interview that gives insight into the lives of someone who is low vision or blind.

Our Mission: Our mission is to provide an easy to use site for those who are visually impaired and their caretakers. As visually impaired individuals ourselves we know how difficult it can be to find resources, so we developed this site in the hopes that it makes the search for resources to improve your life easier.
