Metrolina Association for the Blind is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides a host of programs and services for those who are blind or visually impaired. Services on offer include counseling, low vision evaluations, orientation and mobility lessons, and an 8 week mini-center program that is meant to give a brief overview of all the assistance the center can provide.

The Vision Resource Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides blind or visually impaired residents of Cumberland county with a variety of programs and services. Programs for youth and adults include bingo, self defense training, independent living workshops, cooking classes, and support groups.
