The Nebraska Center for the Education of Children who are Blind or Visually Impaired is an organization that provides services to visually impaired youth from infancy to age 21. The organization offer services both at its main campus and to other school districts state-wide. Theses services include vision assessments, counseling, providing textbooks and learning materials in an accessible format, and access to accessible technology.

The Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a state ran agency that provides blind and visually impaired residents of Nebraska access to a host of programs and services that include an independent living program for both adults (ages 14-54) struggling with vision loss and a separate one for children ages 0-13 where they’ll learn the skills necessary to live a full life with their visual impairment. Other services on offer include a vocational rehabilitation program that provides work placement and career related aid to those with visual impairments, and a program for older individuals suffering from vision loss that teaches accessible technology, access to audio books, and daily living skills.
