The Maryland School for the Blind is a 501(c)3 non-profit that serves students (ages 3-21) who are blind or visually impaired through their campus in Baltimore. The school also has an outreach program that serves students in their home communities and districts from birth to age 21.

Blind Industries and Services of Maryland

Blind Industries and Services of Maryland is a 501(c)3 organization that provides training and career resources to those who are blind or visually impaired in the state of Maryland. Services on offer include 3 different programs for youth and teens that help with the transition to either college or work, as well as a comprehensive rehabilitation program for adults (ages 18-55) who wish to either enter the workforce or resume education. BISM also offers a variety of programs and workshops for seniors.

Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides programs and services to those who are blind or visually impaired in both the state of Maryland and the D.C. area. Programs and services include the foundations of adjustment to blindness, workforce development services, youth and family services, and a program for those who are deaf and blind.
